Saline Tattoo Removal

If you have additional questions you would like to ask before booking your appointment, please see our FAQ or Ask Emme.

Saline tattoo removal is a process that uses a saline solution to lighten tattoo ink by osmosis. Water in the cells beneath the pigment contains lower amounts of salt and water will rise to the area containing higher concentrations of salt (saline solution).

Through this process, the pigment is lifted up and out of the skin. During the healing process, the scabs that form contain the trapped pigment. The pigment is removed when the scabs fall off resulting in a lighter tattoo. Multiple sessions are typically indicated, and this will vary based on client needs.

Emme Brow & Aesthetics uses Li-FT solution for tattoo removal. The solution is made by Li Pigments in a state-licensed and regulated manufacturing laboratory under sterile conditions and it’s independently tested for safety. It is a non-acid, high-concentrate saline solution. The product contains natural, non-irritating ingredients: lemon and orange seed extract, aloe vera, and sterile water.

Advanced Saline removal technique that does not damage the skin but gives great results. The saline solution is injected into the tattoo using a tool similar to a tattoo gun or microblading hand tool, then left for a short period of time period this allows the saline to break down the ink in your skin and essentially pull it out. The area will heal, scab over, and fall off to reveal a lighter tattoo. Desired results can be achieved in one session while others may need two to three sessions depending on the brow saturation. Not all persons are good candidates for saline removal. Consultation is necessary.
