Henna Brow Tinting
If you have additional questions you would like to ask before booking your appointment, please see our FAQ or Ask Emme.
Henna tinting is a treatment that involves staining the skin and brow hair, but it’s different from the usual eyebrow dye you’d use during eyebrow tinting. It’s not a dye that has peroxide like regular brow tinting. It’s all-natural, derived from plants, and safe to use on the majority of skin types.
If there’s one beauty topic that is just as relevant as your eyelashes, it is your eyebrows. Perfectly groomed eyebrows are the latest trend, and people are going about achieving those brows in different ways.
Henna is a more natural approach to enhancing brow color. Hanna is a natural dye made from a plant known as Hina or the henna tree. The dye helps to create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area. Hannah can last wonder two weeks on the skin and four to six weeks on the brow hairs.
A great alternative to chemical tinting and permanent makeup.

Is henna good for eyebrow tinting?
Henna brows are a type of tinting that stains the skin giving you tinted hairs for up to 6 weeks and a tint on the skin that can last anywhere from 2-10 days. It's a fantastic way to try out a shape before committing to semi-permanent makeup, or if you just want your eyebrows shaped and filled temporarily.
-
How often should you get henna brows done?
Over-processing is not advisable and can hinder the health of your natural brows. What you can do, is use a brow pencil or pomade to instead fill in those gaps slightly and wait another week or two to repeat the treatment. Once a month is preferably the optimal time frame in between treatments.

How do henna brows compare to other temporary tintings?
Henna is a safe and natural alternative to tints and dyes. It is vegan-friendly and free from peroxide activators, making it a suitable option for anyone with sensitive skin.
